Dr. Mikenah Joy Vega, known to patients as Dr. Joy, is a cosmetic and general dentist with a meticulous eye for detail and a strong belief that dentistry should feel as good as it looks. Her approach blends clinical precision with thoughtful design, ensuring every treatment is both functional and visually balanced. 

A graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Joy brings advanced training and modern digital workflows to her daily practice. She is Kois Center-trained, a distinction held by only a small number of dentists in Houston, and practices dentistry through a comprehensive, evidence-based approach that prioritizes function, longevity, and risk-based care.

At River Oaks Dental Arts, Dr. Joy focuses on comprehensive and high-end cosmetic dentistry, including porcelain veneers, Invisalign, smile makeovers, and restorative treatments designed to last. Her philosophy is conservative and intentional: diagnose thoroughly, treat precisely, and never over-treat.

When she’s not in the operatory, you’ll often find her at Alphaland, training and recharging.
